Let’s say you purchase one Ubiquiti product for $475. To calculate the cost of extending the warranty by two years, you would need to follow the pricing rule:

• The total value of the Ubiquiti product is $475.
• Each warranty unit costs $5.50, so the total cost for extending the warranty for two years would be 10 units * $5.50 = $55.

Example 2: Multiple Products Purchase

Suppose you purchase three Ubiquiti products but only want to extend the warranty for two of them:

1. UniFi Network Switch: $1,299
2. UniFi Wireless Access Point: $249 (No extended warranty)
3. UniFi Security Camera: $675

To calculate the cost of extending the warranty by two years for items 1 and 3, follow the pricing rule:

• The total value of the Ubiquiti products to be covered by the extended warranty is $1,299 (Switch) + $675 (Security Camera) = $1,974.
• You would need to purchase 40 units of the 2-Year Extended Warranty.
• Each warranty unit costs $5.50, so the total cost for extending the warranty for two years for these two items would be 40 units * $5.50 = $220.
